Profile:
Born in Yamanashi Prefecture. Textile artist and cloth dyer. In 2013 throughout the month of May, her work was featured as the background design of the opening credits for NHK's year-long Taiga drama, "Yae no Sakura".
Profile:
Born in Minami-Alps City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Works primarily with four-panel comics. Representative works include Misoni no Mikoto and Madoka Engawa, a four-panel adaptation of the hit series Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
"There are no pages or segmentations—you feel a kind of thrill in spreading out a finished scroll that you just can't get with a book. It's just as beautiful when it's displayed all rolled up. I think there are a lot of ways to enjoy these scrolls."
